A 54-year-old Italy Valley woman was arrested twice in two days after separate domestic incidents in the Town of Italy.
The first arrest occurred on February 8 when Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report at Italy Valley Road at 6:39 p.m. Michelle A. Staccone was taken into custody after allegedly subjecting multiple individuals to unwanted physical contact in the presence of children. She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child under Penal Law 260.10 and two counts of second-degree harassment under Penal Law 240.26(1).
Staccone was transported to the Yates County Public Safety Building and held for arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) court. However, less than 24 hours later, authorities responded to another incident involving Staccone at the same location. Details of the second incident are currently under investigation, though officials have confirmed that new charges are pending.
This back-to-back response underscores ongoing concerns about domestic incidents in the area.
