A vehicle crash on Atlantic Avenue in Walworth led to a head injury for the driver on Friday night, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say Michael A. Sanzone, 38, of Teresa Drive, Walworth, was traveling eastbound when his vehicle veered across the oncoming lane, went off the road, and struck a ditch. The collision caused the car to vault, resulting in Sanzone sustaining a head injury. Despite his injuries, Sanzone declined medical treatment at the scene.
The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. and was responded to by Deputy T. Kugler, with assistance from Ontario Town Ambulance.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with no further details released at this time.
