Virtual arguments in the ongoing legal dispute between Greenidge Generation, the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), and environmental groups have been moved to Wednesday in Yates County Supreme Court.
The case centers on DEC’s decision to deny Greenidge’s air permit.
Greenidge seeks to delay the permit’s referral back to DEC while appealing a November ruling that upheld DEC’s authority to deny the permit but required a lawful review process.
Despite the dispute, Greenidge continues operations.
