A Chicago man is facing felony drug charges after police say they found methamphetamine and crack cocaine in his possession early Monday morning.

Ithaca police arrested Anthony J. Teutonico Jr., 23, on January 20 after responding to a report of a man leaving a local business in the 200 block of North Meadow Street with a backpack containing a large quantity of unknown narcotics. Officers located Teutonico shortly afterward on West State Street.

Police say Teutonico had approximately two ounces of methamphetamine and four grams of crack cocaine in his possession. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a Class A-II felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony.

Teutonico was arraigned in Ithaca City Court by Judge Wallace and remanded to Tompkins County Jail without bail.
