Students from four Cayuga County-area schools—Auburn, Jordan-Elbridge, Skaneateles, and Union Springs—earned top honors at the 2025 Central New York Scholastic Art Awards.
Among 4,555 entries judged in 17 categories, nearly 1,300 students received gold keys, silver keys, and honorable mentions.
Winners include Alyssa Curfman (Jordan-Elbridge) and Hannah McHenry (Union Springs) for drawing, photography, and ceramics. Gold key works advance to the national Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
Regional pieces are on display at Onondaga Community College through Feb. 28, with select works featured at the Everson Museum in Syracuse in March.
