The Thompson Health Guild is once again supporting future healthcare professionals with scholarships for area high school seniors. This year, the Guild will award up to six $2,000 scholarships to students pursuing careers in healthcare-related fields.
To qualify, students must be enrolled in a human health-related program, successfully complete their first semester of college, and plan to continue studying in the same field during their second semester. Eligible students must reside within UR Medicine Thompson Health’s service area, which includes 16 school districts such as Canandaigua, Geneva, Waterloo, and Victor.
Applications for the scholarships are due by Monday, April 7. Both students and their guidance counselors must complete the online application form available at www.ThompsonHealth.com/Guild.
The Thompson Health Guild, the volunteer-led auxiliary of UR Medicine Thompson Health, supports the nonprofit organization by funding facility expansions, equipment purchases, and community programs.
