Macedon man arrested for trespassing and property damage in Wolcott

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Macedon man following a disturbance in the Village of Wolcott late Sunday evening.


John Diehl, 40, of Wayneport Road, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief after allegedly arriving intoxicated at a family member’s residence, where he did not live, and forcibly entering the home. Authorities report Diehl caused property damage during the incident.

Deputies responded to the scene and took Diehl into custody. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and is awaiting arraignment in CAP court.
