Remote work policies spark job loyalty concerns

A Pew Research Center survey reveals that 46% of remote-capable U.S. employees would consider leaving their jobs if required to return to the office full-time. Women, younger workers, and those fully remote are more likely to feel this way. Job satisfaction also influences decisions, with dissatisfied workers more inclined to leave.

Meanwhile, employer-mandated in-office days are rising, with 75% of hybrid or occasional remote workers now required to report onsite, up from 63% in early 2023. Despite this, most hybrid workers prefer a balanced arrangement, while only a minority of fully in-office employees favor entirely remote work.

Flexibility remains a key factor in job retention as companies reevaluate remote work policies amid evolving workplace dynamics.
