The East Bloomfield Holcomb Fire Department is celebrating one of its own, as firefighter and high school senior Luke was recently named student of the month by the Bloomfield Rotary. Luke was recognized alongside other outstanding students for his dedication and commitment to serving his community.
“We are so proud of you, Luke!” the department shared. “He shows everyone that anyone can give back.”
Luke’s recognition highlights his efforts both as a firefighter and a student leader, underscoring the value of community involvement. The department also extended an invitation to those inspired by Luke’s achievements to join their ranks.
Anyone over the age of 16 who wants to make a difference is encouraged to visit the firehouse on Monday nights at 7 p.m. for drill.
