Wegmans announced plans to open a 115,000-square-foot store in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, marking its debut in the Pittsburgh region. This expansion comes after decades of customer requests, according to Dan Aken, vice president of real estate.
The store will create 400–500 jobs, but no opening date has been set. Founded in 1916, Wegmans operates 111 stores across eight states and D.C., with additional openings planned in Connecticut and Long Island this year.
