Waterloo man arrested for violating court order, faces multiple charges

A Waterloo man was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly violating a court order, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Tyler J. Dyson, 30, of Route 96, was taken into custody on January 5 around 5:22 p.m. by Sheriff’s Deputies. He faces charges of second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor, and third-degree criminal tampering, a Class B misdemeanor.

The charges stem from a criminal mischief complaint in which Dyson is accused of disregarding an active court order. Following his arrest, Dyson was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he awaits arraignment in CAP Court.
