The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office celebrated a significant milestone today with a swearing-in ceremony for its newest Court Security Recruit Officer and a pinning ceremony for two Deputy Sheriff Recruits.
Court Security Recruit Officer Caileigh Shippers took her oath of office and will now serve at the Hall of Justice, ensuring the safety and security of judges, witnesses, and victims. Deputy Sheriff Recruits Isabel Robson and Christopher Sergeant, who recently completed classroom instruction, were honored during the pinning ceremony. They now begin their field training as Road Patrol Deputies.
The ceremony was attended by Sheriff’s Office employees, family members, and esteemed guests who gathered to support and celebrate the recruits as they embark on their careers in law enforcement.
“We all look forward to their service with the County,” the Sheriff’s Office stated, expressing confidence in the contributions the new recruits will bring to the community.
