A Cayuga County man has died following a one-car crash earlier this month in the town of Onondaga. Riley Besner, 21, of the village of Cayuga, succumbed to his injuries Thursday morning, according to first responders.
Besner was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle that crashed on West Seneca Turnpike after the driver lost control. The incident remains under investigation, with authorities promising updates once the case is concluded.
The community mourns the loss as officials work to determine the cause of the crash.
