Two people sustained serious injuries in a two-car crash in Weedsport. The collision occurred around 6:20 p.m. at East Brutus Street Road and Sheppard Road, according to first responders.
New York State Police reported that one driver was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with serious but stable injuries.
A passenger in the same vehicle was also taken to the hospital by ambulance and is in stable condition. The second driver involved sustained minor injuries and was transported to Auburn Community Hospital.
The incident remains under investigation, and no tickets have been issued.
