Tom Murray, owner of Muranda Cheese Company, received the “Service Above Self Award” from the Waterloo Rotary Club during their annual dinner on Monday.
Founded in 2007, Muranda Cheese Company in Fayette produces 17 varieties of artisanal cheeses recognized for their superior quality.
Don Alhart, Rotary District Annual Fund Chairman and former 13WHAM News anchor, presented the award to Murray, acknowledging his contributions to the community.
In addition to honoring Murray, the club donated $2,500 to the Seneca County United Way, supporting local charitable initiatives.
