A bicyclist sustained minor injuries in a crash after a motorist reportedly failed to yield the right of way in Williamson, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene on Pearsall Street, where Jennifer R. Williams, 54, of Marion, allegedly stopped at an intersection but then proceeded without yielding to an oncoming cyclist. The bicyclist, identified as 75-year-old Alan A. Delozier of Williamson, collided with Williams’ vehicle. Delozier was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for further evaluation.
Emergency response was provided by the Williamson Fire Department, Williamson Ambulance, and Wayne County Advanced Life Support.
