Second Baptist Church of Walworth is gearing up for its annual Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Packing Party, set for Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Located at 3689 Main St., the event invites volunteers to pack boxes filled with school supplies, toys, hygiene products, and clothing for children in need worldwide.
The church welcomes anyone willing to volunteer, whether for the entire event or just a short time. Donations are also being accepted to cover shipping costs—$10 per box—ensuring the boxes reach orphanages, refugee camps, and disaster-stricken regions.
