Police arrested a man after a parking lot shooting left two people injured, according to the Hornell Evening Tribune, at a Hampton Inn.
Michael Grimmer, 58, now faces seven felony charges, including attempted assault. Investigators say the violence followed an argument over money, when he allegedly fired a single shot into a fleeing car with three people inside.
Two passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at Rochester General Hospital. Police took Grimmer into custody without incident and he remains jailed pending court proceedings.
