State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects following a vehicle pursuit in Rochester on Monday evening. The chase, which involved a stolen 2020 Hyundai Elantra, began around 6:14 p.m. near the intersection of Silver and Kensington streets.
During the pursuit, a marked State Police patrol vehicle collided with a tree, causing non-life-threatening injuries to both troopers inside. They were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The suspects, described as two males and one female, fled the scene after abandoning the stolen vehicle in the area of Superior Street. The vehicle was later found unoccupied.
State Police are working with the Rochester Police Department, as well as forensic and collision reconstruction teams, as part of the ongoing investigation.
