On Thursday Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Emerson Road and Sandhill Road in the Town of Canandaigua.
The accident occurred when Sylvia Jimenez, 33, driving a 2009 Dodge Van, failed to yield at a stop sign on Sandhill Road.
Jimenez’s vehicle collided with a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Cadin Lloyd, 25, also of Canandaigua.
The impact caused Jimenez’s van to strike an RG&E utility pole, and a passenger in the van was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital with complaints of a neck injury.
Jimenez was cited for unlicensed operation and failing to yield at the stop sign.
