UR Medicine Thompson Health is holding an information session for individuals interested in starting a career as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m. The session will be held at Thompson’s M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish Street in Canandaigua.
Thompson Health covers the full cost of the five-week CNA training program and pays participants during their enrollment. Graduates are guaranteed CNA positions and receive immediate part-time benefits. Additionally, CNAs who remain employed for at least a year are eligible for tuition reimbursement and promotional opportunities.
