CANANDAIGUA — A Bloomfield man is facing multiple felony charges after police say he engaged in sexually explicit online conversations with a 13-year-old over several months.
Devin M. Clutter, 39, was arrested March 25 and charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor in the first degree, attempted dissemination of indecent material to a minor in the first degree, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Canandaigua Police Department.
Authorities allege that between Dec. 28, 2025 and March 5, 2026, Clutter communicated with the juvenile through multiple social media platforms while in the City of Canandaigua. During those exchanges, police say he sent numerous messages containing explicit and sexually charged content.
Clutter was processed and taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment before being released under pre-trial supervision. He is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are pending.
