The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office celebrated the promotion of one member and the addition of four new officers during a swearing-in ceremony on August 15 at the Law Enforcement Center. Family, friends, and fellow officers gathered to honor the occasion.
Deputy Sheriff Jarrod Surine was promoted to Investigator, marking a significant step in his career with the agency.
The newest members joining the team include Correction Officers Jacob Hartle and Mary-Ann Villella, as well as Special Patrol Officers Joseph Merville and Robert Steele. Officer Villella was unable to attend the ceremony.
“We wish them all the very best in their new roles and for their continued safety as they serve and protect this community,” said Sheriff Thompson.
