A two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Canandaigua left one man injured and another cited for failing to yield at a stop sign.
Ontario County deputies say the collision occurred at 7:12 a.m. at the intersection of Emerson and Sand Hill Roads. James O. Tuohy, 76, of Canandaigua, struck Gary S. Dobbler, 59, of Shortsville, pushing Dobbler’s SUV into a nearby cornfield.
Dobbler was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital with injuries, while Tuohy was issued a traffic citation. The Canandaigua Ambulance and Fire Department assisted at the scene.
