Emergency personnel responded to a four-vehicle crash involving three cars and a tractor-trailer in Skaneateles on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Street Road and Stump Road.
According to the Mottville Fire Company, airbags were deployed, and crews removed hazards from the scene. Skaneateles Volunteer Ambulance provided medical assistance, though no injuries were reported.
New York State Police said the tractor-trailer driver caused the collision by striking a car, leading to a chain reaction. The driver received tickets for unsafe lane movement and following too closely.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and Skaneateles Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
