The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Newark man on July 3 after investigating a disturbance in Sodus.
Deputies arrested Marcus Beane, 39, of West Miller Street, on a warrant for failing to appear on a petit larceny charge. Beane was also charged with possessing a controlled substance.
Beane was processed and taken to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment on July 4. He was also given a ticket to appear in Sodus Town Court on July 10 for the drug charge.
