Earlier this week Seneca Falls police arrested two people following a larceny investigation at the local Walmart.

Patricia Bruno, 63, of Auburn, and Brenda Messer, 60, of Mims, Florida were both taken into custody. The two women were caught taking merchandise from the Walmart at 1860 North Road without paying.

Bruno and Messer conspired to steal the items together, passing all points of sale without attempting to pay. They were charged with one count of petit larceny and one count of conspiracy in the sixth degree.

They were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
