A Rochester man is facing a felony charge after a traffic stop early Wednesday morning in Seneca County.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested 29-year-old Davine L. McGinnis around 1 a.m. on April 8 in the town of Tyre after observing a vehicle with a loud exhaust.

According to Sheriff Tim Thompson, further investigation revealed McGinnis was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.

He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree, a class E felony.

McGinnis was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Tyre Town Court on May 13 to answer the charge.
