Seneca Falls police arrested a Geneva woman after a bench warrant was issued in local court.
On June 3 police arrested Te’ona Martin, 38, of Geneva on that bench warrant. The warrant was issued after Martin failed to appear in court for a petit larceny charge.
She was initially accused of stealing merchandise from a local business and had been released with an appearance ticket.
When Martin missed her court date, a warrant for her arrest was issued. She was subsequently transported to the Seneca County Jail for arraignment at CAP Court. The New York State Police assisted in the arrest.
