Authorities in Penn Yan report the arrest of two local men on several charges after a burglary investigation.
Zachary Waite and Mae Rhoads, both of Penn Yan, were arrested for burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy, and criminal mischief in the village following an investigation.
According to a news release, the two broke into buildings and stole property that was valued over $1,000. Police later recovered the stolen property at the duo’s residence.
The two were issued appearance tickets for all of the charges.
