The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to a domestic dispute call on September 3 at 5:34 a.m. in Fleming.

Following their investigation, Brittany Kuhlmann, 28, of Moravia, was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, an A misdemeanor.

The charge stemmed from Kuhlmann’s involvement in a physical altercation where she intentionally impeded the breathing of the victim.

Kuhlmann was brought before the Centralized Arraignment Court, where she was released on her own recognizance.
