The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of Jackson M. Kent, a 25-year-old resident of Wolcott, in connection with a recent disturbance in the area.
Reports suggest that during a confrontation involving Kent, two men, and a woman, Kent allegedly retrieved a knife from his vehicle, subsequently injuring one of the men by slashing their neck and chest.
Kent, facing charges of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, is currently detained at the Wayne County Jail.
New York State Police, Red Creek Fire Department, and Fair Haven Ambulance assisted during the incident.
