Some tough news for the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday morning.
General Manager Kevyn Adams announced that forward Alex Tuch is week-to-week with a lower-body injury, and defenseman Rasmus Dahlin is day-to-day with an injury he was playing through.
Adams later added that Tuch will be out at least two weeks but is expected to return before the end of the regular season. Dahlin will miss Sunday’s home game against the Washington Capitals but should return to the lineup for Tuesday’s home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Entering Sunday, the Sabres sit just one point behind the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second wild-card spot and three behind the New York Islanders for the first with five games in hand.
