  • Staff Report

On Friday around 9:30 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a rollover crash at the intersection of Armington Road and State Route 21.

Deputies said Corey Lincoln-O’Neil Carptenter was operating a pickup truck, heading north on Route 21 when an uninvolved vehicle stopped causing him to cross over into the southbound lane of Route 21.

He stated that he lost control of his vehicle and landed off the roadway on Armington Road.

Upon further investigation it was determined that Carptenter was consuming alcohol prior to driving his vehicle.

He was subsequently arrested for DWI and transported to the Ontario County Jail for processing. The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
