State police say a Rochester man was arrested on array of weapon charges after a traffic stop.

Aaron L. Rucker, a 45-year-old resident of Rochester, was arrested on Wednesday for second-degree criminal possession of a weapon; two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and third-degree criminal possession of cannabis.

According to the police report, Rucker was pulled over for a vehicle and traffic stop on Oakman Street in Rochester. During the stop, police found him to be in possession of a .40 caliber pistol loaded with 15 live rounds.

Upon further investigation, the firearm was discovered to be stolen from Springdale, Arkansas.

Rucker was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Jail, where he is currently being held pending arraignment.
