Police provided an update on a one-vehicle accident that happened on Balsley Road in the town of Seneca Falls.
Accoridng to police, 37-year-old Brandon Carlson of Seneca Falls lost control of his 2017 Toyota 4Runner while traveling south. His vehicle crossed the center line and crashed in a retention pond.
The Seneca Falls Police Department, Village of Waterloo Police Department, and Seneca Falls Fire Department were called to the scene.
Carlson was stranded on the roof of his vehicle until rescued by the Seneca Falls Fire Department. He was unharmed in the accident. However, his vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Carlson was ticketed for failure to maintain lane.
