A Seneca Falls man faces two felony charges after Seneca County sheriff's investigators said he failed to report information to social services and received benefits he was not entitled to collect.
Thomas Mcneill, 35, was arrested Sept. 24, according to a Seneca County Sheriff's Office release.
Investigators charged him with third-degree welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps, both class D felonies.
The release did not identify the information investigators say Mcneill withheld or state the value of the benefits at issue.
Mcneill was processed at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center and released on an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date. The sheriff's office did not provide a court date.
