Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller left Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions with a right knee injury but avoided the worst outcome.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Miller did not tear his ACL, but the MRI did reveal a lateral meniscus tear. He is expected to miss at least the next two games while resting the injury and gathering other medical opinions.
Playing with a brace remains a possibility, as does surgery, which would put his availability for the remainder of the season in serious doubt, per Rapoport.
Miller has recorded eight sacks, 21 tackles (10 for loss), two passes defended, and one forced fumble in 11 games this season.
