Tonight is the Monday night Powerball drawing, and if someone gets all six numbers they could win $610 million dollar jackpot.

This is one of the biggest prizes in the thirty years Powerball has been around.
While there were winners Saturday night, they did not take home the grand prize.
Winner of Saturday’s Powerball drawing
On Saturday there were three Powerball tickets that saw a good amount of money.
According to My Twin Tiers, the winning tickets came out of New York, South Carolina, and Texas. Each ticket matched 5 numbers, which made them worth $1 million dollars.
No ticket matched all six numbers, so the jackpot has increased to $610 million dollars. That’s a $292.6 million dollar cash value.
This is the eighth largest grand prize in the history of Powerball.
The seventh largest Powerball jackpot was won in January of this year. It was worth $632.6 million dollars and split between two winners in California and Wisconsin.
The largest prize in all of Powerball’s history was worth $1.586 billion on January 13, 2016. This was split between three winners in California, Florida, and Tennessee.
This jackpot has been building up since August of this year. Before that the winner was in Pennsylvania and walked away with the $206.9 million dollar jackpot.
What happens if you win the Powerball jackpot Monday night?
If you win, you can either receive 30 payments over the next 29 years or as one lump sum.
Your shot at winning is slim though. Your chance at a prize is 1 in 24.9, but your chance at the jackpot is one in 292.2 million.
Data shows that 39, 37, 63, 36, and 61 are drawn the most often for the first 5 numbers. 118, 4, 26, 5 and 7 are drawn the most often as the Powerball number.
45 states play Powerball as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
You can purchase tickets for $2 each and drawings happen every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
