Police say an Auburn man was taken into custody on a bench warrant.
According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Xavier J. Alford, 30, of Auburn for failure to appear in court.
The warrant stems from an arrest in January when Alford was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing. He failed to appear post conviction for weekends in jail and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Alford was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility and is pending arraignment.
