Those attending the 2022 New York State Fair are able to apply for a REAL ID or Enhanced Driver License at a mobile DMV office.
The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles mobile office will be located in the Center for Progress Building.
What is a REAL ID, and why do I need it?
Regular drivers’ licenses will no longer be accepted as valid identification to board domestic flights as of May 2023.
Travelers will need a REAL ID or an Enhanced Driver License to fly in the U.S.
When will the Fair’s mobile DMV open?
The mobile DMV will be open from Wednesday, August 24 through Labor Day, September 5.
CNY Central says the DMV office is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., barring Labor Day when the fair closes at 9 p.m.
Additionally, fairgoers can learn about NYS Fair license plates and the over 200 custom plates available at the DMV office.

Eye tests will also be provided for those who need to renew a regular license or apply for a REAL ID or enhanced license.
