Police took a Rushville man into custody following a traffic stop.
According to a news release, the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Corey J. Johnson, 48, of Rushville on a bench warrant.
Following a traffic stop that was made in the village, police learned that Johnson had an active bench warrant from Canandaigua Police Department.
Johnson was turned over to Canandaigua Police to be arraigned at a later date.
