The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Auburn residents following a larceny investigation in Junius.
Beth Geiger, 45, and Rebecca Hughes, 55, both of Auburn were arrested for petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and conspiracy.
Deputies responded after receiving a call that multiple people were trying to steal items from a store. When deputies arrived, they found the suspects involved.
The sheriff’s office said Geiger and Hughes were found in possession of stolen items.
The two will answer the charges at a later date.
