New York has now taken the first two games of the three-game series.
Trevor Williams made the start for the Mets and tossed five shutout innings, while Drew Smith, Joely Rodríguez, and Adonis Medina each had scoreless outings in relief.
Mark Canha, Starling Marte, Francisco Lindor, Eduardo Rodriguez, and Luis Guillorme each collected two RBIs. Marte homered, while Canha finished with a four-hit night.
The Mets will go for their sixth consecutive victory and the three-game sweep on Wednesday afternoon. The first pitch is slated for 1:10 p.m.
