The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce held its May Business After Hours Networking Mixer at Fox Run Vineyards in Penn Yan on Wednesday May 11. The event was attended by several representatives throughout the region, including Chamber and board members, as well as community partners.
During the event, attendees enjoyed a variety of wine tastings and small plates which provided a sampling of popular items on the menu in Fox Run’s Café, including locally sourced meats and cheeses. Guests also had the opportunity to speak with co-owner, Ruth Osborn who spoke about the property’s history and current happenings, while addressing the crowd on their famous outdoor deck, offering stunning views of Seneca Lake.

“We are so grateful for our members and friends, Scott and Ruth and the whole Fox Run team, for not only hosting this event, but for their involvement, and long-standing relationship with the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce,” stated Chamber President, Miranda Odell.
After opening in 1990, Fox Run has continued to grow and evolve, becoming an icon and industry leader both locally and regionally, and at the State level. Fox Run Vineyards has also been proud members and partners of the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years. Updates and news can be found on their website.
The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce holds its main office in Geneva but is one of the only Chambers that operates on regional level, serving members and customers throughout various counties and communities in the Finger Lakes. As a private, non-tourism funded or county-based organization, this allows for an expanded service area for any business or organization to become a customer to benefit from promotional services and programs that the Chamber offers. Business After Hours Networking Mixers are open to the public, but hosting is one of the promotional opportunities that are only offered to members, which has continued to be a popular benefit, proven by members signing up and requesting to host over a year in advance.
Upcoming locations for the Geneva Area Chamber’s regional Business After Hours events will include Mixers held at The Gould Hotel in Seneca Falls, Lincoln Hill Farms in Canandaigua, Finger Lakes Radio Group, Zugibee Vineyards, and Climbing Bines, among others.
The next Business After Hours Networking Mixer will be hosted by Geneva Harley Davidson on Wednesday June 8 from 5 -7 PM. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non members, and is included for all 2022 BAH Season Pass Holders. Reservations are required one week in advance. Please contact the Chamber at 315-789-1776 or email [email protected].
Business After Hours Events are proudly supported by the Chamber’s 2022 Annual Partners – Canandaigua National Bank, Community Broadband Networks, The Eye Care Center, Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union, Finger Lakes Partners Insurance, Generations Bank, Lyons National Bank, Pedulla’s Wine & Liquor, and Spectrum Reach.
