Two charged after investigation into disabled Auburn teen’s death

Two people have been arrested in Auburn after an investigation into the death of a teenage girl in February.

According to police, Brian Burns and Jennifer Klino are accused of endangering the welfare of a child.

Jennifer was listed as Bryleigh Klino’s mother in her obituary. Bryleigh was nearly 17-years-old at the time when she died over the winter.

The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that both Burns and Klino were charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

The two were arraigned earlier this month.

Bryleigh was attending Auburn High School and died a week before turning 17.
