Police say a Canandaigua woman was arrested following a larceny investigation.
According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Amber Messervy, 30, of Canandaigua for grand larceny.
Messervy was taken into custody after it was determined she had stolen over $2,000 in public rental assistance by failing to report she moved from the location she was receiving assistance for.
She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer charges in the Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
