The Pines of Perinton affordable housing complex will be handed a compliance order by the Town of Perinton on Friday should they fail to address potential code violations.
A January 25 fire destroyed 18 apartments at the complex and displaced 16 residents, according to WROC. Additionally, residents have complained of poor living conditions, including pest issues, water damage, mold, lack of fire alarms, and more.

Pines of Perinton management received a notice from the Town of Perinton on Friday, February 18 that gave them one week to come up with a plan of action to address potential code violations. If compliance orders are issued on Friday, February 25, the apartment complex will have another deadline by which they must complete necessary repairs.
