Sabres blow two-goal lead in OT loss to Blue Jackets

The Buffalo Sabres fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets, 4-3, in overtime on Thursday night at KeyBank Center.

Buffalo led 3-1 early in the third period, but once again could not hold onto the lead.

Rasmus Dahlin, Kyle Okposo and Alex Tuch scored for the Sabres.


Jack Roslovic, Brendan Gaunce, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Jakub Voracek scored for the Blue Jackets

Columbus went 1-for-2 on the power play while Buffalo finished 0-for-1.

Sabres goaltender Dustin Tokarski turned aside 28-of-32 shots. Elvis Merzlikins stopped 19-of-22 shots for the Blue Jackets.

Buffalo faces the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
