One person has died after a fire in Corning on January 15.

Around 1:30 p.m. firefighters in Corning were called to the scene of a two-story structure fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters were informed that there may be a body inside.

While putting out the blaze firefighters did find a deceased person inside. The body was removed by the Steuben County Coroner’s Office.
